finest natural ingredients. Shea
Butter – obtained from the
nuts of the Mangifolia tree in central Africa.
A superb emollient, high in fatty acids
and other nutrients. The base of our crèmes.
Jojoba Oil – from
the jojoba desert plant, the oil creates
a protective film over the skin to seal
in moisture. The base of our lotions.
Natural Preservatives –
amla (Indian Gooseberry), grapefruit seed
extract, and ascorbic acid in liposome form.
Nut and Seed Oils –
from Kukui nuts, Rose Hip seeds, coconuts,
apricot kernels, sweet almonds, sesame seeds,
tea tree, lemon and orange.
Herbal Extracts –
from cucumber, aloe vera, coneflower, calendula,
chamomile, rosebud, rosehips, orange blossom,
algae, kelp, ginkgo and many more.
Essential Oils –
volatile liquids extracted from plants and
containing the characteristic plant aroma.
Essential oils evaporate at room temperature
and do not leave an oily residue on the
skin.
MSM – Methylsulfonylmethane,
rich in biological sulfur ; a collagen builder. |

We Don’t
Use…any of these
ten ingredients, many of which cause allergic
reactions, found in many so-called natural
hair and skin care products.
1. Sodium Laurel Sulfate –
a cheap, harsh detergent often made from
petroleum.
2. Parabens – chemicals
used to inhibit microbial growth and extend
shelf life. May cause skin rashes.
3. Ethanolamines –
ammonia compounds used as emulsifiers. Toxic
– can form carcinogenic nitrosamines.
4. Petrolatum (Petroleum Jelly)
– a cheap mineral oil derivative
used as an emollient, but leading to dryness
and chapping.
5. Synthetic Colors –
like “FD&C Red No. 6” –
often carcinogenic.
6. Synthetic Fragrances –
which may have up to 200 chemical ingredients!
7. Propylene Glycol –
usually a synthetic petrochemical mix. Known
to cause hives and eczema.
8. Stearalkonium Chloride –
an ammonia compound used in hair conditioners
and creams. Toxic.
9. Diazolidinyl Urea –
this preservative, a cause of contact dermatitis,
releases formaldehyde.
10. PVP/VA Copolymer –
a toxic petroleum-derived chemical. |
